Senior Veterinary Technician/Certified Behaviorist/Client Service Coordinator

Debbie Sadowski

Debbie has been working at Countryside for 23 years. A native of Illinois, she started her career in a small animal hospital in Oakbrook and after High School moved to Missouri. She worked 10 years at Warrensburg Animal Hospital and took classes at Central Missouri State University. In her free time, she rode and showed Tennessee Walking Horses and Missouri Fox Trotters. Several years later she moved to Kansas and worked at a small animal clinic in Derby, near Wichita. Three years later she moved to Arkansas to be near her family and worked at Edwards Veterinary Clinic here in Hot Springs. After 10 years she took a job with Fort Dodge Laboratories selling biologicals and pharmaceuticals to the veterinary clinics in Arkansas.

Missing the “hands-on” work with animals, she came here to Countryside in July of 1994. She earned her degree as a Certified Animal Behaviorist and loves helping our clients with their pet's behavioral problems.

She and her husband live with 5 dogs, 7 birds, and a large saltwater aquarium. Two of the dogs are Boxers; Lyka, and Roxi; a Doberman Apollo; Schnauzer named Hobbs and a “whatchamacallit” named Jack. They were all rescues except for the fish, which were very expensive!

She loves what she does and her motto is: “Do what you love and love what you do and you will never have a job.”
